Gold-plated AGP contacts are often one of the most valuable parts of a circuit board. Using an XRF device with the precious metals function, gold content can be estimated quickly and reliably. If the reading shows less than 20% gold, it typically indicates around 5000 ppm – helping recyclers and buyers make fast, data-driven decisions during sorting.
